Black Food Fridays is an online initiative that encourages everyone to support Black owned restaurants by purchasing food and/or gift cards on Fridays. Through social media, we highlight Black owned restaurants as a way to drive positive economic impact to spots all around the world. We also share photos/videos of people who tag their content with the #BlackFoodFridays hashtag via our Instagram account.

By the way, my name is KJ!

KJ Kearney is the founder of Black Food Fridays

I'm a native of North Charleston, South Carolina and a proud graduate of South Carolina State University (#HBCU!) I run BFF all by my self but I have been able to partner with some pretty dope people since starting in April 2020.

I've done work with Charleston Wine + Food Festival, Red Clay Hot Sauce, Lillie's of Charleston, South East Tourism Society, and more! So if you want to work together, don't hesitate to hit me up via email: info@BlackFoodFridays.com.

Lastly, it would really be helpful to me if you do the following:
